A better environment starts with yourself. And what better way to contribute than by baking a banana bread with dark chocolate?! It may sound crooked, but it's really true. Every year, millions of slightly overripe bananas disappear into the trash. While at that moment they are actually ripe for ... the baking pan. Dark spots? Predominantly brown? Almost black? Go with that banana! The riper, the sweeter. The sweeter, the better to bake your own banana bread. Delicious with coffee or as a nutritious and responsible snack.

Crazy about nuts? Then add a handful of coarsely chopped nuts to the batter for an extra filled bread.

How are you?

Mash 2 bananas with a fork and mix in 2 eggs and the butter.

Add the contents of the bottle and a pinch of salt to the mixture. Mix it all until well blended. Spoon the mixture into a greased cake tin. Cut the last banana in half lengthwise and place on the bread. Place the tin in the middle of the oven for 60-70 minutes. Check the bread in between with a skewer. If batter remains, it may be a little longer! If the skewer is clean, the bread is ready!
