Sangria white wine
At Pineut we are also crazy about white sangria. Where the world famous red variant has something 100% Spanish, the white sister gives you that wonderful exotic Hello Summer feeling! The colorful combination of mango, apple, orange and pineapple clearly visible against the condensed glass gives you the impression that you are in the tropics. Or in Africa. Could that still be due to our sustainable mango from Burkina Faso?
Against food waste
Our white Sangria has been given a new recipe. And we didn't just do that. We wanted to process more residual flows in the recipe. We set up a collaboration with Thijs and Bart from A Better Bite. Two Westlanders with great frustrations. While working at a packer of fruit and vegetables, they were disappointed by the amount of fruit and vegetables—that didn't make it to the supermarket for lame, aesthetic or bureaucratic reasons. They started drying those fruits and vegetables and ran into Pineut. A match made in heaven!
In our renewed white Sangria you will find rescued pineapple and orange. Tastes even better and better.
How do you make a white sangria?
The jar or carafe is filled with the perfect blend of carefully chosen ingredients. Add 700 ml of white wine to the fruits. Set the carafe aside for half an hour and let the fruit do its work. Count down the seconds and add sparkling water and some ice at the last minute. Your sangria blanco is ready to be enjoyed. Hello summer!
Pssst, want to give your sangria an extra kick? Then add a dash of brandy or triple sec liqueur. Caramba how tasty!
